You can fail at childhood music lessons and still get to Carnegie Hall!

Ned has had an exciting and varied music career.
He presently plays solo as a singer-songwriter, as well as with his latest band.

Ned didn’t start singing until he was 30 years old and sang at Carnegie Hall less than 15 years later!

Here’s Ned playing some original music in Austin at the speaker after-party for Mary Ryan and Joe Vitale's Attract Wealth Seminar.

Ned’s latest original music is American Folk Rock. Some call it Alt Country. As one producer said, “Like Neil Young, but with a voice that makes me want to keep listening.”

Where did Ned and his music come from?

After failing at childhood music lessons, Ned played French horn in the Noblesville High School band in Indiana.

In college he was part of a group that helped rebuild the college radio station WMHD at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He was a DJ for two years after the station was finished.

He began playing harmonica when he was in his late 20’s and began singing when he was about 30. He has started, managed, and played in several bands with former members of famous acts like The Isley Brothers, Meredith Brooks, and Sheryl Crow.
Ned has also sung the National Anthem for the San Francisco Giants and for the San Jose State Spartans football team.

He now sings, plays harmonica, bass, and guitar solo, and with other musicians, depending on the day and the venue.

In addition to performing at Carnegie Hall, he has performed around the US, and in Europe.
He has released two full-length CD’s, plus composes and records the music used for his relaxation and other products.
You can buy the CD’s here.

As a music teacher and coach to professional musicians, Ned encourages his students and clients to try things that they feel are impossible.
His “impossible music dream” is to put together a program that will allow ALL people to sing confidently.

Think of it – what if EVERYONE could sing? Ned believes that it is possible – if you would really like to be able to sing or have a loved one you wish would learn how to sing, there will be a product for that coming out late in 2010. Admit it – some of you really hate to hear your spouse, parents, or friends start to sing. It WILL be different.

"Ned's musical skills and sensibiliti es are superior in every sense, but the true standard for measuring musicians lies in the heart that they put into their music. Ned's heart is what puts his music over the top!"
